Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2/15/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Isomer Sync (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our website, join our waitlist, contact us, or use our services (collectively, the “Service”).
1What we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
A. Information you provide
- Waitlist / contact details: email (required), and optional fields such as name, company, store URL, role, and free-text notes.
- Communications: messages you send us (e.g., support requests), and our replies.
B. Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data: IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), device/browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps (typically via logs and analytics).
- Cookies / similar technologies: small files stored on your device for necessary site functions and (if enabled) analytics/marketing.
2How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- Operate the website and provide requested functionality (e.g., forms, basic security).
- Manage the waitlist and send product updates or onboarding emails.
- Respond to you (support, inquiries).
- Improve and secure the Service (debugging, preventing abuse/fraud).
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
If you use the product (not just the landing page), we also process data you submit to provide the Service (e.g., configurations, URLs you monitor, and related outputs).
3Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
If GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Consent for marketing emails and for non-essential cookies where required.
- Performance of a contract when you request a service or create an account.
- Legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service (balanced against your rights).
- Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose certain records.
When GDPR applies, controllers must provide specific notices at the time of collection (identity, purposes, retention, rights, etc.), and this policy is intended to satisfy those transparency requirements.
4Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies for core site functionality.
If we use non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics/marketing), in many places (especially the EU/EEA) we will ask for your consent before setting them, and you can withdraw consent later.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings (note: blocking necessary cookies may break site features).
5Email communications and opt-out
If you join our waitlist, we may email you about Isomer Sync (launch updates, invitations, and related announcements). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. If you are in the United States, commercial emails must include an opt-out mechanism and honor unsubscribe requests.
6How we share information
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers (processors) who help us run the Service (hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, customer support). They are authorized to process data only on our instructions.
- Legal/compliance: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (we’ll apply appropriate safeguards).
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any required rights/controls.
7International transfers
We may process and store data in countries different from where you live. If you are in the EU/EEA (or otherwise subject to GDPR) and your data is transferred outside the EEA, we will use recognized safeguards when required (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).
8Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including legal and security needs.
Suggested defaults:
- Waitlist entries: until launch + up to 24 months, or until you unsubscribe/request deletion (whichever comes first).
- Support emails: up to 24 months.
- Logs/security records: typically 30–180 days, unless needed longer for investigation or legal compliance.
9Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
10Your privacy rights
EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR): you may have rights such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (including objection to direct marketing).
To exercise rights, contact us at support@isomer-sync.volc.men.
California (CCPA/CPRA, if applicable): you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain “sharing”/sales depending on how your business qualifies and operates. California rules also expect a Notice at Collection to be available at or before the point where personal information is collected.
11Age Requirements
Our Service is directed to users who are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we’ll provide reasonable notice.
